(7th Meeting) Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention - UNCCD COP17

I call to order the seventh meeting of the committee for the review of the implementation of the convention.
In keeping with the committee's practice, there would be an opportunity to make statements after the proposal is considered.
Due to the short turnaround, the committee would proceed on the basis of the advanced document available in English only.
May I take it that the committee wishes to proceed on such a basis? I hear no objection.
It is so decided.
I thus now invite the committee to resume its consideration of agenda Item five entitled Procedural Matters Program of work for the 25th session of the committee for the review of the implementation of the convention in order to take action on draft decision ICCD slash CRC 24 slash L one.
Draft De L one is entitled date and venue of the 25th session of the committee for the review of the implementation of the convention.
May I take it that the committee wishes to adopt draft decision L one and recommend it to the conference for adoption.
I hear no objection.

Before adjourning the meeting, I would like to advise the participants that the final plenary meeting of the committee will take place this afternoon at a time to be announced.
